The tide is always changing.
Every child grows through seasons of rapid development, illness, emotional challenges, and remarkable milestones. Rather than simply reacting when problems arise, we believe in building a strong foundation that helps children thrive throughout life.
At Anchor in the Tide, we become your partner in that journey. Through relationship-based pediatric care, nutrition, lifestyle guidance, preventive medicine, and compassionate support, we help families weather life's storms and celebrate its calm waters. Our goal is to provide an anchor—not by keeping children from experiencing life's challenges, but by helping them develop the resilience and health to navigate them with confidence.
Meet Dr. Lauren Sadovsky
Anchor in Tide was founded by Lauren Sadovsky, DO, with a vision to return pediatrics to what it should be: relationship-driven, thoughtful, and truly patient-centered.
Dr. Lauren grew up in San Antonio, TX and studied at the University of Dallas for her bachelor’s degree before going to UNTHSC-TCOM for medical school. Following medical school, she was recruited to be in the first graduating residency class from Baylor College of Medicine at Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.
After working in outpatient pediatrics in San Antonio for a few years after graduation, she and her family moved to Rockport, TX.
Most recently, Dr. Lauren has cared for hospitalized children throughout South Texas at Driscoll Children's Hospital. While this role has been deeply rewarding, it has also reinforced her passion for preventive medicine and the importance of partnering with families before illness develops.
This calling inspired Dr. Lauren to establish her own practice, where she can focus on helping children build a strong foundation for lifelong health. She believes that cultivating healthy habits early—through nutrition, movement, sleep, meaningful relationships, and emotional well-being—empowers children not only to avoid disease but to flourish with resilience, wellness, and vitality for years to come.
Dr. Lauren now enjoys life on the coast with her husband, Griffin, and their four wonderful children.

Insurance coverage is strongly encouraged. Membership is not an insurance plan or substitute for health insurance. It is typically advantageous to have health insurance to cover hospital bills, lab tests, imaging, vaccines, specialist appointments, and medications. PPO plans facilitate easy specialist access. High-deductible plans or healthshare plans are sometimes a good complement to DPC. Please discuss with your insurance provider.
